【 Installation And Maintenance 】
• Always check and ensure the routing of the original cable and its dimensions to be identical to the new cable before installing.
• Lubricate the cables with some light oil prior to installation
• When routing cables, make sure that there’s enough gap between the cable and any heat source to allow the cables to move.
• Once installed, check the cable’s operation from steering lock to lock to make sure it works both ways (Push/Pull)
• For maintenance, cables should be removed and flushed with a blast of air to prolong cable’s life. However, replacing the cables at regular intervals should always still be the best option.
【 Sealed Cable Systems 】
Rod and sleeve seals protect against moisture egression. Seals keep strand lubricant inside cable and dirt/water out. A thick wall polymer jacket is extruded onto the cable casing to protect against water, dirt, and abrasion.
